There is such a thing as "emotional neglect" on CPS' s list of reasons to intervene in a home, and that's not even active, verbal, just "neglect". If *that*'s considered harming the, I'm not sure them living in a household where arguments get so awful that the cops are ed would qualify as an adequate environment. Anyway, I do understand it is not up to me to decide and I can't just waltz up to a judge and make allegations without evidence. My question was essentially about how to properly substantiate (or invalidate, I guess) my claims and whether it would qualify as a valid reason, knowing that what CPS and what the court frown upon might not be the same thing, regardless of how *I* feel for the safety of my.
